I am an orthopaedic surgeon specialized in shoulder and sports medicine. I care for pediatric and adult athletes with special expertise in shoulder, knee, and elbow surgery. I perform arthroscopy of all these joints and treat injuries including rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability, knee ligament tears, ACL tears, patellar dislocations, knee cartilage defects, elbow conditions such as tendon and ligament tears and OCD lesions.

I was a collegiate gymnast and am a mom of 5 athletes in a variety of sports. I am an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Duke and enjoy teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons while providing excellent care and participating in cutting edge research.
