Dr. Jamie L. Lynch is a board-certified, sports medicine fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in shoulder pathology. Dr. Lynch offers her experience, professionalism and knowledge to the patients at TruOrtho an all women orthopaedic practice, in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Lynch received her bachelor’s degree in Cell and Structural Biology through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Dr. Lynch is fellowship trained in orthopaedic sports medicine surgery from William Beaumont Hospital. Her expertise includes shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty and knee ligament and cartilage surgery.
She remains involved in the local community. Dr. Lynch spent time working with the Perry Initiative outreach program helping to introduce a new generation of high school girls in San Antonio to orthopedic surgery and engineering as a profession.
Her dedication to orthopaedics and physical fitness allowed her the opportunity to serve as the medical director of the South Central regional Crossfit Games in the past.
She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
