We are excited to have you join us at our Annual Meeting.
Forum events begin Thursday night and end Saturday night. Please plan to arrive by 6pm on Thursday January 16, 2024 and depart on Sunday January 19, at your leisure. We will have a great educational program and some additional
events to participate in- more to follow after registration.
Registration Fee - WAIVED
To save on expenses, Forum members traditionally have “roommates” or shared rooms at the hotel. You can request someone or be randomly assigned a roomie. Room rate is $417.25 per night in a single room or $208.63 per night in a shared room*
*Includes current tax rates which are subject to change. Will have a minimal affect.
Note your requested room type will be based on availability and is not guaranteed. It is most urgent that we receive your arrival and departure date information as well as your rooming preference as soon as possible in order to confirm
reservations on time. Your hotel reservation will be made for you.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel after December 15th you will be charged a cancel fee by the Forum equal to one full night room and tax $417.25.
Hotel confirmation numbers will be provided in late December 2024 via email.
Attire for the meeting is resort casual.
Guest information
If you are bringing a Guest to any Forum related meal function you are responsible for paying your guests’ meals. Information on meal pricing will be made available to you if you indicate a guest on your registration.
Airport Information
Closest Airport is the Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport. Transportation is available via taxi and Uber (around $30). The hotel is in town and parking is very limited. There is no need to rent a car. The city is very walkable and there are numerous downtown transportation
options available. If interested in ride share provide flight info to Molly by 1/1/2025

Recreation Options:
Spa at Hotel Bardo-
It is recommended that you book appointments in advance and tell the spa you are with the Forum group. Appointments should be made after 1:30pm on Friday and Saturday and finishing before 6pm to fully attend the meeting and evening events.
Once the hotel Spa is full there are several day spas in Savannah- recommendations will be provided.

Self Defense + Team Building Kickball:
Join us for a dynamic Self-Defense class led by Shana Miskovsky in Forsyth Park, followed by an exciting Team-Building Kickball game! This event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM—perfect for boosting your skills and fostering teamwork in a fun and active environment.

Walking tour of Savannah departing from Hotel Bardo:

EDUCATION FUND
Over 20 years ago, Pam Whitehead, with the support of DonJoy Orthopedics, was instrumental in inviting a group of fellowship trained, female Orthopedic Surgeons to an inaugural meeting in San Diego. This group evolved into the organization we now call The Forum – which provides a unique “forum” for scientific discussion and support among women orthopedic sports medicine surgeons.
