Dr. Ireland will become the 4th woman and 90th inductee of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Hall of Fame on July 15, 2023. Our Board of Directors is planning a reception in Washington, DC to celebrate this achievement. You can find all of the inductees here. Description of the Hall of Fame from AOSSM: In 2001, AOSSM established the Hall of Fame to honor members of the orthopaedic sports medicine community who have contributed significantly to the specialty and set themselves apart. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors given to a Society member.
